The Library is open from 8.30am to 1.30pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Other business may occasionally require staff to be absent in which case a note is placed on the door indicating time of re-opening. Your Northern Sydney Local Health District, (NSLHD) Staff Card / staff number is required for registration to use the Mental Health Library and borrow books.
Book loans are limited to 5 items for a three week period and renewals can be arranged dependent on other clients having submitted a loan request. Journal issues are excluded from loan and remain in the Library.
Photocopying and use of a network connected computer are also available at the Library for registered library clients.
Library staff can also conduct literature searching on behalf of clients and arrange for loans of books from other external libraries within Australia’s health library network.
Assistance / training in the use of CIAP resources is also available from the Mental Health Library.
